Valencia High School senior pictures don’t get much more exciting than Chloe’s incredible senior session! From Friday night lights at Valencia High School to Pasadena City Hall and a gorgeous Santa Monica sunset, every stop perfectly captured this exciting season before she heads to the University of Alabama this fall.
If there were an Olympic event for fitting the most amazing locations into one senior session… Chloe would definitely be bringing home the gold medal.
When Chloe first reached out about her Valencia High School senior pictures, I knew this session was going to be something special. Not only is she a Varsity cheerleader at Valencia High School, but she also has an incredible sense of style and is headed to the University of Alabama this fall.
(Insert enthusiastic “ROLL TIDE!” here.)
From football fields and varsity jackets to Pasadena architecture and a dreamy Santa Monica sunset, this session was basically a highlight reel of everything that makes senior year unforgettable. First, we started at Valencia High School before heading across Southern California for the rest of her adventure.
Starting Where It All Began: Valencia High School
After all, that’s where some of her biggest high school memories were made.
We wandered through the stadium, photographed her incredible custom letterman jacket (seriously… one of my favorites ever), and captured the place where so many memories were made. Between Friday night football games, cheer competitions, and countless hours supporting her team, this campus represents such a huge chapter of her life.
Of course, no cheerleader session would be complete without heading out onto the football field.
Pom poms? Check.
Letterman jacket? Check.
Cheer uniform? Check.
Magazine-worthy portraits? Double check.
I absolutely love incorporating meaningful locations into my senior sessions because years from now these images become so much more than pretty pictures—they become memories.

Roll Tide!
One of my favorite parts of every senior session is celebrating what’s next.
Chloe is headed to the University of Alabama, so we changed things up with an Alabama football jersey, bright red cowboy boots, pom poms, and her college pennant for a fun college announcement portion of her session.
The golden Santa Clarita hills were the perfect backdrop for these photos and gave everything a relaxed California vibe while celebrating her next adventure.
Safe to say Tuscaloosa is getting one pretty incredible student.
Roll Tide!

On to Pasadena — Architecture, Character, and Old Town Magic
Next stop?
Pasadena City Hall.
Because if you’re going to create editorial-inspired senior portraits, one of Southern California’s most iconic locations is always a good idea.
The architecture, grand columns, beautiful gardens, and timeless details never disappoint. Chloe looked absolutely stunning in her lace dresses and soft pink outfit, and honestly… she looked like she stepped straight out of a fashion magazine.
This part of the session brought a completely different feel from the football field.
Instead of sporty…
Elegant.
Instead of Friday night lights…
Classic California architecture.
That’s exactly why I love multiple outfit changes and locations—it creates so much variety in your final gallery.

The Grand Finale — Santa Monica Beach at Golden Hour
There is only one thing better than a beach session.
A Santa Monica Beach sunset session.
After what felt like a marathon sprint across Southern California, we arrived just in time for golden hour.
And wow…
Mother Nature absolutely showed off.
Chloe slipped into the dreamiest flowing pink dress as the sun dipped toward the horizon, the waves rolled in, and the sky turned soft shades of gold and blush.
Then we wandered toward the Santa Monica Pier, capturing the iconic Ferris wheel, Pacific Park, crashing waves, and every last bit of gorgeous evening light.
These are the kinds of portraits that never go out of style.
Soft.
Timeless.
Editorial.
Completely magical.

Why I Love Sessions Like This
One of the biggest misconceptions people have about senior portraits is that they have to happen in one location wearing one outfit.
Not around here.
Your senior session should tell YOUR story.
Maybe that’s your high school.
Maybe it’s your favorite beach.
Maybe it’s the city.
Maybe it’s all of the above.
Chloe’s session perfectly blended every part of who she is—from cheerleader to future college student to confident, beautiful young woman ready for her next chapter.
That’s exactly what I want every senior gallery to feel like.
