Welcome to the corner of the internet where the laughs are loud, the photos are bold, and nobody takes themselves too seriously. It's not your typical photographer's studio-think of it more like your favorite coffee shop (but with more cameras and way cooler backdrops).

I started Tara Rochelle Photography with a camera, a dream, and a stubborn refusal to get a "real" job. 25 years later, here we are-with me still rebelling against the 9-to-5 and absolutely loving every chaotic, creative minute of it.
Here's the deal: I believe every photo tells a story. Your story. Whether you're a high school senior ready to take on the world, an actor/actress needing fresh new headshots, or BOSS BABE needing fresh new pics to showcase your personal brand, l'm here to make your vision come to life!
And while we're at it, we'll have fun. A lot of fun. Maybe too much fun? (Is there such a thing?)

It all started with a free CAMERA &
a High School PHOTO CLASS
And then quickly turned into me convincing my parents to turn our Seattle basement into a darkroom where I spent nights immersed in the glow of photo chemicals, dreaming of capturing the world through my lens!
Back then, long before the digital age took over, I was diving into every fashion magazine I could get my hands on. I was breaking down how to get "the shot". It was the era of the 90's supermodels (you know- the ones who only needed one name.

When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me cheering embarrassingly loud at my daughter's lacrosse games, hunting down the best pizza in town, or binge-watching the latest series with a big bowl of popcorn (extra butter, please) - did I mention I met my husband while working at AMC Theaters in high school?
I'm a sucker for true crime documentaries, rollerskating, all things 80's and I firmly believe that laughter is truly the best medicine.
