Q. What should I wear?
I highly recommend you discuss this with your agency or manager prior to your shoot. I am happy to give suggestions as well.
Q. Do you shoot indoors or outdoors?
I shoot the majority of my headshot sessions in at my studio in Valencia. It's located right off of I-5 in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Q. Do you offer Makeup & Hair Services?
Yes!! I have several wonderful artists I am happy to coordinate for your session.
Q. What is your payment policy?
A non-refundable deposit is required to book a shoot and I accept many forms of payment including Zelle, Venmo, Cash, and Credit Card.
Q. Do you shoot on the weekend?
I occasionally will open up a weekend date for my clients traveling from out of town/state, otherwise I try to keep my weekends reserved for my family.
Q. What if I need to reschedule?
I totally get that last minute emergencies come up and will do my best to get you in asap. Your deposit can be moved to a new date 2 times.
The artists listed above have been working with me for many years. They are amazing at what they do which is why I recommend them to anyone wanting to elevate their session by using a professional artist. I can coordinate the artist for you, or you can do so on your own. If you are hiring an artist other than one from my recommended list, please arrive at the studio with your first look already done and ready to begin shooting. If using one of my recommended artists, you will be able to use the dedicated makeup/dressing room prior to your session to have the services completed on site.

If you will be using one of my recommended artists for your session, please let me know at least 48 hours prior to your shoot so I can ensure the makeup room is available and can coordinate the scheduling.
The rates indicated are set by the recommended artists and are subject to change. You will pay your artist directly the day of your session.
If you are using a different artist other than the ones indicated, please arrive at your scheduled shoot time. The makeup room will only be available from the beginning of your shoot time until the end of your session and not for pre-shoot preparations.
Things to keep in mind- This is YOUR shoot! Myself and the artists will always suggest what would work best but your input is just as important. This is a group effort!
Please plan to show your artist examples and inspiration of for what you envision. One persons version of a smokey eye could be very different from another persons. Please speak up and let your artist know if there is ANYTHING you want to fix / change.
You should look like the best version of you and the artists and myself are here to help make that happen.

I know getting your headshots taken can feel more daunting than being on stage. My goal is to make this the easiest part! From styling to the final edit, here are the answers to the questions I get most often to help you feel completely at ease.
Q. What should I wear to my session?
I recommend discussing your "types" with your agent or manager first. Once you're booked, my Prep Guide will help you translate those roles into the perfect wardrobe textures and colors.
Q. Should I hire a professional hair and makeup artist?
Absolutely. To get that "luxe" finish, I highly recommend adding one of my pro artists to your session. They understand studio lighting and ensure you look polished while still looking exactly like you.
Q. Do you shoot in a studio or on location?
I shoot in my dedicated studio in Valencia. This allows us total control over the environment and lighting, ensuring your headshots have that clean, high-end "pop" that casting directors love.
Q. How long until I get my photos back?
I know you’re ready to get to work! You’ll receive your private gallery within 3 days after our shoot. Retouching takes an additional 3-5 days after your favorite images have been selected.
Q. Can I purchase additional retouched images?
Definitely! While your session includes a set amount of edits, you can always add more. Additional professional retouching is available for a flat fee of $25 per image.
Q. What exactly counts as a "look"?
A "look" is a considered an outfit change which also usually includes a shift in the lighting and/or background. Adding a simple layer like taking on or off a jacket is totally fine and does not count as an additional look.
