I don’t do headshots for aspiring actors and actresses nearly as often as I used to (which was all the time) and I really miss it sometimes. When I first moved to Los Angeles from Seattle, I was working at a studio in West Hollywood that pretty much only did headshots. It was all natural light and something about that really simple, straight forward, easy kind of shooting was so fun. I sometimes have to remind myself to not get to fancy and let the personality of the subject come out. This is my second time photographing David and this time we did the photo shoot in one of my favorite spots out in Pasadena. Is it just me, or does he remind you of a younger Jim Caviezel?

I think it’s so awesome when I see one of my previous headshot clients on a t.v. show, in the movies, or in a commercial!! Sometimes I’ve even seen someone, and wonder, “Wait, how do I know that person, why do they look familiar” and then I remember I did their acting headshot pictures!! haha!! So cool!!
