Never got around to blogging this fun senior portrait session of Tori that we did at the Santa Monica Pier. It’s always so much fun to shoot there! I love all of the bold bright colors on the top of the pier and then you can head right below and have the great sand and water photos. More than the beach itself, I love the light that spills in under the pier and around the orange canoes. So many cool places right there!! Tori was such a sweet girl (one of my other senior clients sent her my way, so thank you Morgan!!) and her brother Mark came along to sneak in for a few shots too.

Some people when they think of a senior portrait, they think of the dreaded plain background, stiff studio setting, and virtually nothing custom or unique. It’s just the same as every other person in their school (or the entire town) but I really want to do something different for each senior. I try to give them something that will show off their style and create an experience for them that they’ll really enjoy and remember. I love that Tori was up for anything and was not shy about being a bit silly and just having fun even though there were plenty of random people walking by while we did her portraits (and some that even asked to be in pictures with her). She wasn’t afraid to be quirky, show off her fun personality, and even splash around in the water!! Thank you for a super fun senior portrait session Tori!! Enjoy!!
