Lovely little family I met out here in Santa Clarita and was asked to photograph a newborn session of their baby boy in their home in Valencia (which is fabulous!!). What is it about a newborn portraits that I love so much? Isn’t he sooo cute and yummy? Love that bassinet and this might be my favorite mommy and baby picture!! Love it!! I don’t know exactly what it is about newborns that I so enjoy. I know many of my friends that just didn’t love the newborn phase. I wouldn’t pass it up for the world. I love the snuggly, the constant holding, the feeding, (the pooping and spitting- mmm. not so much). Maybe it’s the fact that they are only that little for such a short time. Children grow so amazingly fast that it blows my mind. I remember when I was a kid and adults would always say how much time flies and at the time, I could have cared less. Now I get it. Now I’m the mom saying that to my kids!! They grow up before you know it and I am witnessing that every day with my own lovely girls (did I mention that as they get a little older, I could totally do without all the whining :0 )
