When I saw all of the amazing outfits Josie was bringing for her photoshoot, I knew she would have one of the most Stunning & Stylish Senior Portraits in Los Angeles California! Her style is a mix of vintage finds paired with new and modern pieces. One of the first things you notice about Josie is her spectacular smile that lights up any room she walks in to! Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in? List off any sports, interests, hobbies, or organizations you participate in.A. ASB, Soccer, Swimming

Q. What kind of look were you going for in your senior photos?A. I was going for a chic, street style with a twist. I really wanted to showcase my different styles and interests.

Q. How was your experience during your senior shoot?A. I had so so so much fun and wish I could do it all over again. Tara and Melissa were awesome and made my experience so special and unique. The location I picked was somewhere that had it’s own personality and it really showed in the final results.

Q. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to anyone getting their senior photos taken?A. Don’t try to be anyone else. Be yourself and showcase what you got.

Q. How many outfits did you take?A. For my shoot I took and shot in four different outfits. All were different from one another and showed all the different sides of me.

Q. Would you have taken more or less, reasons why?A. The amount that I had was perfect being that I was able to work with my surroundings to get beautiful pictures.

Q. Did you accessorize differently with each outfit? If you have any tips on how many accessories, jewelry, shoes, headbands, etc they should bring, please list those tips here.A. Yes and no, I used a cute black hat twice throughout my shoot and brought along a couple bracelets and a necklace.

Q. Did you take any props or try to incorporate any activities that you’re in?A. No, but I sat on a cool garbage can in front of some graffiti!

Q. Any tips on how to prepare for the session or must have things to bring?A. Have an easily accessible bag and have everything organized it’s a lot easier and quicker to change between outfits if everything is ready for you.

Q. Any tips on hair/makeup? Where did you get your inspiration for this? Did you bring in pictures or have a plan prior to your styling?A. Look for looks online that you really love and showcase them. I personally used Pinterest and found super cute boho hair styles and simple make up looks, I printed them out and brought them with me on the day of the shoot.

Q. Did you find a store that had everything you were looking for?A. All of my looks were actually straight from my closet! They are all coming from different places like thrift stores, Free People, Forever 21 (jewelry), and Cotton On.

Q. What ended up being your favorite outfit and why?A. My favorite outfit of the shoot was my last one which was thrift store jeans paired with a vintage Tommy Hilfiger cropped sweater and Hologram Adidas. It really showcases the fun side of me and fit with any background.

Q. Let’s talk about locations. Why did you choose that location? Do you wish you would have gone some place different or would you suggest where you went?A. I chose Abbot Kinney because of the beautiful art and modern architecture there. I loved it there, there was so many different spots to shoot and all went well with my outfits.

Best thing about being a Senior: The best part is that you get to choose who you want to be in the future during your senior year.

Q. Is there anything you would have done differently for your shoot?A. No, I loved every part about it.

Q. What was your favorite thing about your session or the overall experience?A. Getting all dolled up and seeing the result was my favorite part, I felt like a movie star.

Q. Why do you think senior portraits are important?A. They are important because it showcases the “you” you are leaving high school as and what you have grown to become throughout the past four years
