For todays blog post we’re going to do a little TBT (throwback Thursday) of some Pasadena senior pictures of Miss Amy!! Amy is a class of 2016 senior and just graduated from Valencia High School in Santa Clarita.

We decided to shoot in more of an urban area for Amy’s senior pictures. Her wardrobe choices were perfect for this location! I love how different all of Amy’s wardrobe choices were. She brought along amazing ponchos, fun hats, an elegant black dress, and a cute top paired with a great skirt. When choosing outfits, I always recommend for clients to bring an assortment of looks. That is exactly what Amy did. By bringing tops with varying necklines and bottoms that all vary (meaning some jeans, some skirts, some dresses) then you’ll really maximize the look of your shoot. Senior sessions should have a bunch of variety. Amy has a great sense of style and her style icon is Olivia Culpo, so no wonder she had a bunch of great items!

Let’s talk about makeup for a minute! To keep Amy always looking fresh and flawless, professional makeup artist Jess, came along with us on our shoot. In all of my sessions, a professional makeup artist is included!! It is 100% a must in my book!

Adorable, sweet, and down to earth are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Amy. Her easy going personality made photographing her such a breeze!

What did you think of Amy’s Pasadena senior pictures? Another great place for an urban look is Senior Pictures in Los Angeles. But, Pasadena is one of my favorite places to photograph seniors! It is easy to get to, parking is a breeze, and there is so much variety available in a small area. Plus, there are are a ton of amazing restaurants and great shopping places right there. After your session, you can spend the day enjoying all the fun things right there in Pasadena!
