Today, I’m bringing back one of my really fun shoots with Madison! Madison is a recent graduate from Saugus High School in the Santa Clarita Valley, and currently attends California State University, Channel Islands! She has a crazy, fun personality and is easy to love.
I absolutely loved this shoot because there was so much variety, which is why I love shooting in Ventura! We even got to stop at a few places down the way. The weather was perfect, just like her outfits! I was so in love with the outfits Madison brought because they represented her personality really well. Although they were all very different, they all came together well, and went perfect with her location choice. My favorite outfit was her second one with her adorable jean skirt and her super cute red and white cropped top! I think this outfit in this location was BOMB, although her fifth outfit with the jean jacket and red/orange dress was a close second!!

Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
A. Throughout high school, I spent my time working with children. I coached a pop Warner cheer-leading squad and babysat two children age 8 and 10.
Q. What kind of look were you going for in your senior photos?
A. A look that represents my style that was natural and showed my personality.
Q. How was your experience during your senior shoot?
A. My experience was one of my best days. Loved every second of it.
Q. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to anyone getting their senior photos taken?
A. My advice would be to bring plenty of snacks and enjoy the ride.

Q. Would you have taken more or less, reasons why?
A. I think I took the perfect amount of outfits.
Q. Any tips on how to prepare for the session or must have things to bring?
A. Get good sleep and maybe bring an energy drink
Q. Any tips on hair/makeup? Where did you get your inspiration for this? Did you bring in pictures or have a plan prior to your styling?
A. I wanted my makeup more natural and Wendy did an amazing job creating that look.
Q. Did you find a store that had everything you were looking for?
A. I purchased a lot of my clothes at Forever 21, which is nice because the store is so reasonable cost wise.
Q. What ended up being your favorite outfit and why?
A. My favorite outfit was the orange dress. It fit my personality perfect. It was dressy yet fun and flirty.
Q. Let’s talk about locations. What location(s) did you choose for your session? Why did you choose that location? Do you wish you would have gone some place different or would you suggest where you went?
A. I chose Ventura because it gave me all different types of scenery. I would not change my location choice.

Funny story about you and your BFF – Going to a football game I dropped them off at the wrong high school and I went to the correct one to meet up with them. They were not too happy with me about this experience.

Q. What was your favorite thing about your session or the overall experience?
A. I thought I was going to be nervous and uncomfortable, but Tara and Wendy made it like we were hanging out just taking fun pictures all day. Plus the time I got to spend with my mom!

A. The capture a special time in our lives
Q. Why did you choose Tara Rochelle to take your senior pictures?
A. I just love how all of her pictures she posts on Instagram come out and I wanted some of my own!!
