J. + Eric : The Mitten Building Wedding : Redlands Photographer

I had such an awesome time doing J & Eric’s engagement session at the Griffith Park Observatory and finally am getting around to blogging their wedding photos from the fall at the Mitten Building. Talk about a DIY super crafty fest!! Miss J. is the QUEEN of all things crafty and she and Eric totally outdid themselves with everything!! First of all, their invitations were amazing and included little recipe cards and a super cute little doily all wrapped up with white and purple string, then they had a quilt piece at each and every guest table (and also one that the bride and groom signed as part of their ceremony), they had cute little button boutonnieres that the groomsmen and groom wore, they, of course, did the flowers themselves, had button centerpieces, and OMG check, out J.’s bridal bouquet all made of unique and one of a kind broaches that were special to her and her family!! So cool!! And it won’t die like regular flower bouquets!!

There were tons of and tons of other custom touches that I could go on and on for days! We snuck away for a super quick photo op to try and get somor more portraits done of just the bride and groom and those turned out to be some of the ones I like the best!! Yummy light right before sunset and some killer flare make me a happy girl!!

One of the coolest parts of the entire reception was when J. surprised Eric with the drumline crew!! He used to be on it and his old teacher came out with some students. I loved the look on Eric’s face when they came in!! Priceless!
