Had an awesome time getting to know this family during their portrait session in Pasadena. As many of you know, it is one of my favorite places to do my sessions (you can see another one here). It has that great combination of unique locations, an urban vibe, but still pretty darn clean as far as alleys and urban areas go.

For the most part, I usually think the oldest child is the one who kind of sets the stage for how the session is going to go and how their brother or sister are going to be. The oldest of the kids are usually the ones that interact with me the most and want to be the little helper during the shoot. Not so much in this case! The little lady here is such a cutie pie and was into the whole process a bit more than her big brother! Don’t get me wrong, as we strolled from area to area, big bro Mason had his fair share of fun with me, but I definitely think Miss Makenna was the star of the show (sorry Mason)!
