These two little ladies are so very near and dear to my heart. They’re MINE!! Today is Ava’s 4th birthday and I can’t believe just how fast she is growing!! She is the sauciest, sassiest, and yet so sweet the next minute!  So very Jekyl and Hyde with this one! I’m sure as many moms will say- being a mom is such a struggle and difficult job but the rewards reap so many benefits that I would do it a million times over! These two little girls have brought so much joy into my daily life that words can’t even begin to describe. It’s so true that once you have kids it’s like your heart is walking outside of your body. No longer are things about me, it’s about the two of them and what will make them happy. I would do just about anything to hear them cackle in their sweet little laughs, see them smile, and see the surprise and wonder on their faces when they discover something new. Now I’m not going to sugar coat it and say that everyday is a piece of cake (although on those days I can usually get by with a trip to the nail salon with my lady friends or a little sip of the ol’ cocktail- cranberry & vodka- thank you very much). There are down times, there are screaming fits (usually by me), and there is the whining. But I would take all that any day of the week!!

Since today is Ava’s special day I thought I would list a few fun facts about her:

Nicknames: Avey, Porky, Shortstack, and CheeseBandit

Absolutely without a doubt loves CHEESE (she loves it all except for the “yucky blue kind” she just informed me)

Is VERY convinced that she is going to marry Justin Bieber and live in a castle (and she told our cleaning lady that she would have to fight for him if she tried to marry him!)
