Another great family portrait session out here in Valencia!! I met Jenn several years ago when my youngest was only about one. I was doing a photo shoot for a childrens clothing line and one of my wedding clients, recommended Jenns daughter to be one of the models. It’s funny now looking back and that I didn’t really get to know her until a couple years after that. Now we hang out fairly often, we scrapbook, we go to birthday parties, etc… Pretty awesome!

The last portrait session we did together was about 3 years ago and we shot on the beach while they were on vacation in Oxnard. Got some great pics but the beach can be little tricky especially if you have little ones. They are constantly looking around at all of the different noises and distractions. You have the sand on the feet (and sometimes very HOT!), the sounds of the waves crashing, the blaring sun, the other people running around splashing (the nervous parents screaming), and so on and so on. Needless to say, I was super excited to do another family portrait sitting for them and this time we headed out to one of my new favorite gems. I love this place!! There are so many super cool elements with the brick and textures, the orchard, the old trucks, love, love, love it! If only it were in my backyard!! haha! Someday I’ll have something like this!!

It was so tough to choose which images to show since I loved so many of them!! I even snuck in my favorite Bowjie headbands and put one on Hailey before we were done. I think she was a little bummed when it was all over! She did amazing and I think she would have let me photograph her all day long!! Hope you all enjoy the images!
