Ryann : Beautiful Urban & Nature Senior Pictures in California

Today I”m sharing the beautiful Urban & Nature Senior Pictures in California I did with Miss Ryann from Trinity Classical Academy. Ryann is one of my 2017 TR Senior Models and we had so much fun at her senior session! At first Ryann can be a little quiet and shy but she is such a natural in front of the camera. Her mom, Shannon, helped her out with her outfits since her regular high school attire is a uniform. I think they both did an amazing job of combining different looks. How cool is the first outfit with the black dress and black tights? It totally reminds me of Wednesday from the Addams Family!! Here are some helpful tips and tricks for planning your own senior portrait session….

  • Q. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to anyone getting their senior photos taken?
    A. Make sure to come with outfits you love. Don’t worry about what others will think because in the end they are your pictures and you want them to turn out the way you want them!
  • Q. How many outfits did you take?
    A. I had five outfits.
  • Q. Would you have taken more or less, reasons why?
    A. I would have done one more because although five ended up being a perfect number when it came to time and I loved all my outfits, there were a couple other outfits that I was debating between using.
  • Q. Did you accessorize differently with each outfit?
    A. Yes. Make sure to bring lots of shoes and whatever accessories you want, but Tara has so much jewelry to choose from too. Have specific hairstyles and looks you want to go for ahead of time too.

    A. I used pinterest mostly to come up with inspiration.
  • Q. Did you find a store that had everything you were looking for?
    A. I found a lot of accessories at Forever 21 and some shoes at H&M. My favorite store is Free People which is where a lot of looks came from, but other places (like Amazon too) had a lot go good choices.

    A. My favorite outfit was a Boho look where I had a romper and thin and flowy cardigan from Free People. It involved so many accessories and the background was so pretty!
