Jennifer & Steve : Engagement Session in Griffith Park

I just did Jennifer & Steve’s amazing wedding this weekend at Trump National and thought since I hadn’t gotten a chance yet to blog their e*session, I better get on it. They were a referral from another one of my awesome clients, Evelyn & Frank, and I liked them as soon as we met!! We decided to do the session at the Griffith Observatory and around Griffith Park. Since I had just done another shoot there recently (click here to check out that one) I kew the place would be super cool!! On a separate side note: is it weird that every time I am there, I keep waiting for Demi Moore to come spinning around on one of those cylinders like she did in Charlie’s Angels? I didn’t think so.

Jennifer is so pretty and totally reminds me of a cross between Katie Holmes and Katie Lee Joel. Weird. She is Greek and Steve is Japanese so it made for a really unique combination of cultures at the wedding. Steve had the sweetest vows / notes that he said during the ceremony. It left all of the guests and most of the wedding party sobbing. They did the ceremony overlooking the Pacific Ocean and although it ended up being a bit windy and actually chilly (strange for late July), it was gorgeous!! I had so much fun hanging out with them and getting to know them a little better before the big day. Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon….
