Taylor : West Ranch High School : Senior Portraits in Los Angeles

Taylor applied to be one of my Senior Models for West Ranch High School and as soon as I met her for her senior portraits in Los Angeles, I liked her immediately!! Her mom came along ( and turns out we have mutual friends) and cracked me up the entire time. I don’t know how Taylor managed to keep a straight face for most of her pictures!! The amazing Jess did her makeup professionally and Taylor brought along great outfits and awesome accessories to the shoot. I had my car filled with extra goodies that day but she came more then prepared to rock her senior pictures!! She had some of the most amazing light that day!  Here is what Taylor had to say about herself along with some of my favorite images from her Los Angeles session…

-I am addicted to Starbucks, but they stopped making my favorite drink! Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino, no whipped cream and extra caramel.

-For some reason, people think that I’m not very bright when it comes to academics. I’m mainly in all AP classes, and I’m graduating with honors!

-I have over 300 hours of community service, most of it being done with the American Cancer Society.

-I love to read. I’m currently hooked on Tess of the D’Urbervilles. I’m supposed to be reading it for my AP Literature class, but it feels like I’m reading it more for pleasure!

-I am a very musical person, and I have been in choir for eight years now.

-I am employed as a lifeguard and a swim coach.

-I am very accident prone, and super clumsy! It always makes me feel silly, but it’s a big part of who I am. I don’t think I’ve gone a day without falling at least once.

-I’m happiest when I’m outdoors, submerged in nature. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do.

-Cotton candy is possibly my favorite thing in the whole wide world

-One of my favorite places to go is the beach. There is nothing more relaxing than walking along the water, with the wind blowing through your hair as you listen to the waves crash onto the shore.

-I plan on studying criminology and psychology, and I want to become a criminal profiler.

-I love it when it’s really cold outside, and I cuddle up with a book and hot chocolate next to the fireplace.

-I listen to all kinds of music, but believe it or not, music that is more on the punk side is probably my favorite. I grew up with it, so it’s just part of who I am!

-My little sister Rylie means the world to me. I really don’t know what I’d do without her!

-When I was ten, my celebrity crush was Gerard Way, the front man of My Chemical Romance. It may seem weird, but there was just something about him that had me hooked!

-I absolutely, positively CANNOT stand math. It makes my skin crawl.

-I have always been a very independent thinker. I stand up for myself and my beliefs. Some people admire me for this, and others, well…not so much.

-I have never touched drugs, including marijuana, and never plan to. Saying no to peer pressure can be hard, but I’ve been doing it since junior high!

-My favorite TV shows are CSI, Hawaii Five-O and Psych. Not in that order.

-I can do this really weird thing when I shape my tongue into a three-leaf clover. Some people think that it’s crazy, but every now and then I find someone else who can do it too.

-When I was growing up, my dream car was a Corvette. Now I don’t care what I drive, as long as it has 4 wheels and can get me from point A to point B!

-My favorite time of the year is the month of October. I love the fall.

-When I was a baby, my eyes were bright blue. They changed as I grew up.

-I have a very warped fashion sense. I can buy something from Hollister and then something from Hot Topic, and make them go together!

-My first concert was My Chemical Romance, Muse, and Rise Against when I was eleven. I still get goose bumps when I remember all of the energy and passion felt in the arena. Since then, I’ve seen over 50 bands perform.
