Good golly Miss Alexia’s Pasadena California senior pictures were a blast!! As you can tell by her portraits, the camera absolutely loves her and she is an absolute natural in front of the camera!! One of my favorite things about working with teens and seniors is the photo shoot session itself. I get to hang out with them, drool over their amazing clothing (and remember that no one was this cool or dressed this awesome when I was in high school), and basically hang out and have fun. These senior pictures were no different! Both Alexia and her mom are super cool and chill.

We did the senior pictures in Pasadena because it’s one of my all time favorite locations for portraits!! There are so many cool different options for backgrounds. Most spots might not seem all that great when you’re walking by but if you know how to spot good lighting and how the the low depth of field can make for some beautiful bokeh, you can make just about anything look good. Simple alley ways, street corners, cubby holes, and staircases are a dream come true for me to shoot in!

It was crazy hot but that didn’t stop us from just going for it and shooting in as many outfits as possible! Can you tell that Alexia loves bodysuits? Three of her “tops” are actually bodysuits!! Also want to give a Happy Birthday shout out to Miss Alexia since today is her bday!!
