E-mail issues

October 26, 2009

So it has been brought to my attention that yet again, I am having some e-mail issues. I am not receiving all of my inquires and some of them go quite a way back. I am in the process of having these kinks worked out and if you have e-mailed me and I have not responded, I am so so sorry!! Please call me on the 800# if you need to talk with me and would like to book a session. I normally return e-mails within 24 hours so if I have not responded yet, PLEASE call me. I swear I’m not ignoring you on purpose!! Thank you!

introducing.. Studio Mini-Sessions

October 15, 2009

After a VERY long time trying to get the area ready, I have officially now begun doing studio sessions. They are a little less than the urban sessions that I do and they are on a smaller scale. So, the sessions are for up to 2 subjects only and last about 30-45 minutes. They’re great for those of you that want to do a shoot but aren’t quite ready to do the urban one yet. Perfect for in-between shoots when those little ones grow so fast. Check out my website for even more examples (in the portrait gallery section under “studio”).

Here is little Miss Ava striking a pose. She was so not happy to be getting her photo taken but I love this photo anyway!! I had this idea planned for months and based it all around this wicked hat that I found on ebay. Gotta love ebay!!

Baby Charlotte

October 14, 2009

How cute is this little nugget? Meet baby Charlotte… the beautiful little girl of one of my wedding clients from last year. I came to their place to photograph them and loved this little ladies room. Decked out with all kinds of super cute girlie things. This girl already has a ton of shoes and would put Carrie Bradshaw to shame (especially since she can’t even wear them yet!!). Butterflies on the ceiling, princess books, chandeliers, and so on and so on. Awesome shoot and even though we were going for some of those sleeping baby shots, the little lady has a mind of her own and really had no intention of doing what I wanted. Hahah!! Can’t wait to see you again beautiful girl!!

So much for trying to be a daily blogger but that’s me- overachiever! If I can blog once or twice a week I will be a happy girl. I am going to try and post more often so that I can get caught up since I am way, way behind!! Here are some from another senior session. I get the feeling Samantha loved having her photo taken and was more than a little bummed when we were done!! Love shooting these!!

Kroll Family

October 12, 2009

I finally had the opportunity to photograph my good friend Lillie’s little boys. She told her hubby that was the only thing she wanted for Mothers Day so that is what we did! Our oldest kids met when they were barely 1 and it’s been so fun watching them grow up together. Her boys are like my girls- total opposites from one another!! I love little Joshua in his diaper, in an alley, eating his cake. I think her husband thought I was crazy (maybe just a littlle). Lillie is one of those people you meet in life and she just gets me. She speaks her mind openly and I love her for that (even if I don’t always want to hear what she has to say because she can call me out on my b.s.). Glad you love the pics Lillie!! Thanks for being such an awesome friend!
