So yes, it is official! I am the worst blogger in the history of blogging!! It’s not that I don’t want to do it it’s just that I can never seem to find the time to keep it up to date and current. My other problem is that I think I want to use so many images and it takes way to long to do that. So… here is my new plan that I’m going to try out (once I do all my old postings that I already have the layouts done for)… I am only going to show a few of my favs from the sessions. As much as I would love to show all of my favorites, it just simply is now working for me. I’d rather have a few shots from a session than nothing at all. If time permits, then I’m sure I’ll post a few more here and there. The plan is just to get the ball rolling and try to catch up a bit. So here it goes….

In trying to do my part to go a bit green, I will no longer be printing out on paper my portrait agreements, invoices, or shoot details!! I now have a private client info area where you can read all about what to expect at your session, get ideas on what to wear, book an appointment, sign the agreement, and pay for your shoot. I’m super excited about it and a big thank you to Joell for setting it all up for me!! I can’t wait!! Go green!!

So I am finally back and fully recovered from my week in Las Vegas. I go each year around this time for WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) and then I had a group of my lady friends that flew out and met me for the weekend after. Each time I go to the convention, I am so overwhelmed and excited and anxious to come home and try a million new things. I get crazy with new products I want to offer, marketing ideas, different types of shooting that I want to try, you name it. And I will admit, I am pretty good and doing what I set out to do (except for blogging). Well, this year, I’m going to go all out. I am so nuts with everything I plan to do that I can’t seem to turn my brain off for one second (much to the dismay of my sweet hubby and my little ladies). So, I have a bunch of new work and images I am going to share in the next few weeks that I am super excited about. As some of you may know, I am going to be launching a new sister company to Tara Rochelle Foto that is aimed towards empowering women and helping us feel good about ourselves. Think beautiful sexy images like those of Victoria Secret, Maxim, W Magazine.. If you want to get technical, they’re called boudoir sessions but it seems whenever I tell someone that I’m shooting a boudoir session they think smutty dirty penthouse (not that penthouse is all smutty and dirty but I’m sure you get the idea) style stuff that is total nudies in your face. Sorry if that’s too graphic for you but I’m trying to keep it real here!! hahaa!! So no, not smutty, but sexy. Not dirty, but saucy. I have seen some absolutely gorgeous steamy sexy images and the woman is only showing her legs or torso. Anyway, sorry for the very long post but I just wanted to share where I’m at right now. Look out for some new posts, new site, and more personal dishes of me. I’m going to start sharing more of who I am and not just “hey, look at this pretty picture”. I will warn you however… I am not a journaling major (or minor) so please forgive my misspelled, mis-punctuated, rambling… oh boy, here I go again!!

In case you need a fabulous super cute little place to fulfill your sweet tooth, look no further!! Melissa Joan Hart has opened up a dessert shop in Sherman Oaks right on Ventura (and Woodman). It is so stinking adorable! It’s adorned with purple walls and purple flooring, chandeliers, bright green chairs, and candy filled tables. Oh, did I mention that there is also a ton of ultra sinful sweets there? Frozen yogurt? Check!! (Pistachio is my fav!!), Red velvet cupcakes? Check!!! Gelato? Check!! Rows and rows (and rows) of teeth decaying yummy goodness everywhere? Uh yep, there is that too!! Pretty much everything you could possibly want to indulge in is there (except maybe a bathtub full of chocolate fudge…I’m sure if I asked we could work something out). I was like a kid in a candy store (literally) when Mel asked me to shoot some pics for the store website and promo stuff. And of course, you can’t have pics of a candy store without some pics of kids in a candy store!! So, wait no more…and enjoy!! And if you’re even thinking of stopping by…just do it. Your tongue will thank you even if your thighs don’t in the morning!!

So it has been brought to my attention that yet again, I am having some e-mail issues. I am not receiving all of my inquires and some of them go quite a way back.
