Family Portraits: Party of 8

I absolutely love this family! In the short few years that I have known them, we quickly have become good friends. Our kids have gotten to know each other too and loves to hang out together. For as many children that they have, they all are so sweet. The family consists of 4 girls and 2 boys. They are so very different from one another (in my opinion) and it sometimes makes me wish I had a huge family like them (although when there is a problem with my kids, I’m pretty thankful that there are only two of them screaming!!)

Lately, I have really been into woodsy, earthy, outdoorsy looks. I found this gorgeous location here in the Santa Clarita Valley. One of my favorite spots for sure and the more I shoot there and explore, the more little gems I am finding! Every corner is a beauty!

I have been working on my editing style lately and find myself doing a lot of vintage tones and treatments. What do you think? Do you like them or is it just a phase I’m going through? Feel free to leave a comment 🙂

I had just discovered these amazing headbands from a local artist in Los Angeles and have been stocking up on them ever since. I love them on kids, adults, for children session, seniors, fashion, EVERYTHING!!! (okay maybe not on boys!!) Check out her work at < rel=no follow a href=””>BowJie. She is awesome!! It definitely ties in to the earthy feel I am into at the moment. Definitely a one of a kind family session!!!

Love these family pics. I think the colors are absolutely beautiful. Makes me want to get another family photo. Love the one with everyone on the tree and the close up of the four girls on sofa!!ReplyCancel

Oh my gosh! We had such a fun afternoon with this amazing couple. Ryan and I spent the day with Sara & Key and went around to a few different spots in Santa Barbara. That city is so beautiful!! I just love it! They will be having their wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore so we did a few shots there and then drove around to see what we could find. When we passed by the groovy carousel, I knew we had to stop!! And a special thanks to the nice folks that were celebrating a birthday there and so graciously let us borrow their BALLOONS! Love that series of images! So excited for their big day. I know it will be amazing!!

It has been a bit crazy over here with the holiday rush and then not so fun with my two sick little ladies 🙁 Found some oldies but goodies that I wanted to share. Jake is the adorable little man of one of my past wedding clients. Gina and Perry had an unbelievably stunning wedding in Malibu a few years back and I was so flattered when Gina called to ask me to do a family session while they were in town from NYC. I really am fortunate to have an amazing career and that I get to do something I love every time I pick up my camera. Photography has always been my Number 1 passion and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else! I’m very lucky! Anyway, hope you enjoy the post and I’d really love to hear from my blog stalkers more often!! I know you’re out there since I hear from you in other formats but PLEASE don’t be shy! I’d love to hear from you!!
